Linus Sebastian was born on January 20, 1986 in Langley, British Columbia and was raised on a dairy farm in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Growing up, Linus was homeschooled, and excelled in math, science and computers.
Linus pursued a degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Victoria, and when he was only 19 years old, he began working at NCIX. Initially, he started out as a part-time technician and quickly moved up to become a component buyer and reviewer.
